Publishing support for independent authors
Unfoldra Legacy Publishing offers professional services to help authors prepare a book for release. Our service packages are paid project engagements with agreed deliverables. A service inquiry is not an offer of a traditional publishing contract or a guarantee of acceptance by a retailer.
Cover and interior design
We can scope cover concept development, front and back cover design, a spine appropriate to the final page count, print interior layout, and ebook formatting. The proposal identifies trim size, formats, image requirements, design rounds, and final files. Illustrated books, complex tables, or specialist layouts need a tailored production scope.
Publishing details that deserve attention
Production support can include your book description, author biography, categories, keyword planning, ISBN and imprint guidance, and publishing-account setup assistance. We discuss where the book will be published, who manages the accounts, and how royalties and platform payments are handled before moving forward.
Uploads, proofs, and release preparation
We can assist with file preparation and uploads for platforms such as Amazon KDP or IngramSpark when appropriate to the project. Digital preview checks and physical proof review help identify production issues before release. Platform approval, printing, shipping, retailer availability, and return terms remain subject to the relevant providers.
What needs its own scope
Ghostwriting, substantive editing, proofreading, printing, ISBN purchases, image licensing, permissions, paid advertising, and ongoing account management are included only when your proposal says so. We will identify outside costs and any author responsibilities in advance.

One coordinated production scope
The book-formatting, cover-design, and publishing-support services previously offered by Cook Digital Services are now coordinated here. Depending on your agreed editions and platforms, support can include EPUB preparation, hardcover dust jackets, platform-template sizing, barcode placement, and upload assistance for Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, and Barnes & Noble Press. Additional editions and complex layouts are scoped explicitly.
Author websites and reader-newsletter implementation can be added through Digital Services & Author Platforms. Shared metadata, graphics, and account setup are counted once in your proposal.
